Kyrsten's Pet & Childcare

I (Kyrsten Steudle) established Kyrsten's Pet & Childcare in April 2017. I was a 14-year-old who wanted to put my mark on the world. I wanted to do something I loved. Her father taught her the saying "If you do something you love, you never work a day in your life." While I love what I do, some days are work. That's what shows a true passion, putting work into something you really love. I knew many people needed affordable pet & childcare. I love what I do & get to spend time with animals & children, which is one of my favorite things to do. They are God's blessings to us & can teach us/love us in so many ways.

I have 3 younger siblings, have served in kids' church since I was 10 (ages newborn to 5 yrs old), & have had pets most of my life. After turning 16, I started working at Chick-fil-A to help while my business was still growing. 8 months later, my business was doing so well, I resigned from Chick-fil-A. COVID-19 hit in early 2020 & business was slower, but I got by. I had enough saved up & was still selling duck eggs & rabbits at Kytty's Hobby Farm Life (also on Facebook/Instagram), which helped with the slow time.

2024 UPDATE

So many changes around here. My farm name is now Hearts & Home Farm.

As of June 2023, I am now Kyrsten Capell & my husband has joined the team.

Please bear with me as I work through the process of life changes & expansion. I currently offer more limited services, but I want to offer more by the end of 2025.
